I received the latest bill from Maxis. By e-mail, of course to save a few penny. Nowadays you must save every penny you can, hard life. What shocking me is that my total must be paid amount is RM 410++.
The problem is that one of my subline is not on Family Plus plan. So any call to me would equate to normal call even though she is my subline. Of course she will call me more often because she is my girlfriend!
So I call maxis 123 as usual. And I don’t know it’s a new policy or what, I need to key in my phone no. Don’t they have my number already in their system? Don’t they can detect what is my phone no anyway? Why do I need to enter my phone no if it’s the same number that I use to call them?
But whatever it is, I had a talk with this Maxis guy. I ask him to talk in malay (my preferred language not because I can’t talk in english). But I regret it. I hardly understand his malay, maybe because of the phone line reception or maybe because his malay sucks.
So he told me that the subline no is always on standard plan since start. First I’m quite furios, but since I don’t remember set it as family plan no so I just let it go. So what I did is I ask that guy to change it to Family Plus plan.
Easy job don’t you think? Not easy. Somehow after the process of telling him the phone no, the value plan that I want to associate with… Then only he told me he can’t do it because my bill is overlimit. Hello! I just got my bills, do you expect me to pay it right away ? What an obedient customer of Maxis I am! (no I’m not)
So what he ask me to do is, to settle my bills and call him back. I hang up instantly.
The next day after pay the bill, straight away I call Maxis to change the plan. But no cannot do again. Apparently the payment is not in their database yet. What he told me again today is, he will forward me to billing department and then check for my payment, after confirmation with billing department only then I need to call him back to change the plan.
I hang up again. Really testing my patient.
You see, I set my limit at RM 400 for a reason. Because I don’t want to use over that limit. But why maxis has allowed my amount past RM 400? And for that reason I cannot do anything through their phone support, because I’m overlimit. Who is the one allowed the overlimit to happen? Maxis. Who blocked the phone support because overlimit? Maxis again. Who is the victim? Always the customer!
Maxis is IDIOT. Maxisdiot.

I had problems with the coverage at my house area recently. And they say it’s caused of the network selection thingy, I was like yeah right? So almost a week I can’t get thru my line then dah OK. So no apology from them also. Sigh.
i change my prepaid to postpaid then later the sales girl said if im not comfortable to use the postpaid i can decide in a month then later i call maxis centre the man there said i need to use at least 6 month then i can change it..DA!! even they charge me caller ringtone and i ask him why did u charge even when anyone call me the sound still toott…toooott…one…ish…really lost my patient..even dat guys ask to suspened my no.then buy new one if i still want to change…DA!! what the hecks…
